O “AAMC Center for Workforce Studies “ (Centro de Estudos da Força de Trabalho AAMC) está solicitando resumos relacionados à pesquisa sobre a força de trabalho médica para apresentação na Sétima Edição Anual da Conferência sobre Pesquisa em Força de Trabalho Médica, que será realizada nos dias 5 e 6 de maio de 2011, em National Harbor, MD.
O Comitê Consultivo da Conferência está especialmente interessado em pesquisa sobre política da força de trabalho médica. Ambas as pesquisas qualitativas e quantitativas serão consideradas.

The AAMC Center for Workforce Studies is pleased to announce that we are currently soliciting abstracts related to research on the physician workforce for presentation at our Seventh Annual Physician Workforce Research Conference, May 5-6, 2011 in National Harbor, MD.  
The Conference Advisory Committee is particularly interested in research that informs physician workforce policy.  Both quantitative and qualitative research will be considered. 
Applicants are welcome to submit individual abstracts or to submit full panels of three to four related presentations.  Abstracts not accepted for a panel presentation may be considered for a poster. 
The AAMC is now offering up to three Registration Fee Scholarships for presenters who would otherwise not be able to pay the registration fee due to financial circumstances.

De 8 a 14 de novembro, foi realizado, em Praia, Cabo Verde, o Curso Avançado de Formação e Gestão de Formadores em RECURSOS HUMANOS EM SAÚDE E DESENVOLVIMENTO. O curso teve o apoio técnico da OMS e foi elaborado em resposta às necessidades identificadas pelos dirigentes da Saúde nos PALOP e no âmbito do Projeto de Apoio ao Desenvolvimento dos Recursos Humanos de Saúde nos PALOP (PADRHS-PALOP), financiado pela Comissão Europeia.   Leia mais!

From 8-14 November, Cape Verde held the “Advanced Course of Management and Training in HUMAN RESOURCES IN HEALTH AND DEVELOPMENT”. The course had the technical support of WHO and was developed in response to needs identified by health leaders in the PALOP (Portuguese-Speaking African Countries), within the Support Project of Development of Human Resources for Health in PALOP (PADRHS-PALOP), funded by the European Commission.

The program is offered as a post graduated program for future trainers and managers in human resources for health, to support the training of national trainers and supervisors in the planning and management of HRH, including information systems

Celia Regina Pierantoni (M.D., Ph.D in Collective Health, Coordinator of the Human Resources for Health Observatory – Work Station of IMS/UERJ and Director of the Collaborator Center of the Pan-American Health Organization/World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO) for Planning and Information of Workforce in Health) , Tania França (Statistician. Ph.D in Collective Health. Information’s System Coordinator of the Human Resources for Health Observatory – Work Station of IMS/UERJ and Mario Roberto Dal Poz (M.D. Ph.D in Collective Health; Coordinator of the Human Resources for Health of WHO) gave classes for the participants.  See the pictures!
