A OPAS Brasil organiza uma agenda sobre os avanços e os desafios do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS), prestes a completar 30 anos em 2018, e que se prepara para alcançar os Objetivos do Desenvolvimento Sustentável (OSD) da Organização das Nações Unidas (ONU), a Agenda ODS 2030. Com o tema 30 anos de SUS, que SUS para 2030, a OPAS Brasil envolverá gestores, profissionais de saúde, pesquisadores, especialistas para a produção de conhecimentos com base em evidências científicas para subsidiar essa reflexão sobre o SUS. A partir deste mês, a OPAS Brasil realiza uma pesquisa, baseada na aplicação de um questionário, com aproximadamente 200 atores estratégicos do SUS para definir os eixos temáticos dos debates.

El Ministerio de Salud, a través del Departamento de Gestión de la Educación en la Salud de la Secretaría de Gestión del Trabajo y de la Educación en la Salud (DEGES/SGTES/MS) de Brasil, y la Organización Panamericana de la Salud (OPS/OMS-Brasil), instituyeron el Laboratorio de Innovaciones (LI) en Educación en Salud con énfasis en la Educación Permanente, con la finalidad de captar y documentar los conocimientos considerados más exitosos, innovadores y relevantes, dando prioridad a los proyectos ya implementados, que tengan como base evidencias sobre la formación y calificación de los trabajadores y profesionales de la salud y que presentan contribuciones para la mejora del proceso de trabajo en salud en el Sistema Único de Salud (SUS).

O objetivo do Laboratório de Educação na Saúde é conhecer as inovações e as experiências exitosas que potencializam a formação e a qualificação dos trabalhadores e profissionais de saúde, melhorando o processo de trabalho em saúde no SUS.
O edital prevê três eixos temáticos para a inscrição das experiências: Integração ensino-serviço-comunidade; Educação e práticas interprofissionais e Gestão da Política de Educação Permanente em Saúde.
Podem participar do processo, experiências desenvolvidas no âmbito do SUS,  mensuráveis e comprováveis por indicadores apresentados na candidatura à participação no Laboratório de Inovação.
As experiências podem ser apresentadas, através de inscrições gratuitas, e poderão ser efetuadas, a partir das 9 horas do dia 14 de setembro de 2017 até 23:59 horas do dia 21 de novembro de 2017, horário de Brasília, por meio do preenchimento Formulário Eletrônico.

Today the Member States of WHO elected Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus as the new Director-General of WHO.
Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus was nominated by the Government of Ethiopia, and will begin his five-year term on 1 July 2017.

Os Estados membros da Organização Mundial de Saúde (OMS) elegeram ,  no dia 23/05/17,  Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus como novo Diretor-Geral da OMS.

Tedros foi nomeado pelo Governo da Etiópia, e começará seu mandato de cinco anos em 1º de julho de 2017.

Workshop_development_HRH

This workshop brings together PAHO’s human resources for health and health systems staff for a series of presentations and exercises, facilitated by workforce analysts from the Department of Health in England, to learn innovative models for health and care workforce planning. The facilitators will describe the current planning situation from a European perspective and will run workshops to demonstrate systems thinking techniques – including horizon scanning, scenario generation, workforce modelling and policy analysis – and to engage participants to share their knowledge and experiences.
Objetives
To update PAHO staff on the workforce planning context in England and Europe, with reference to the Joint Action on Health Workforce Planning and Forecasting and other use cases.
To demonstrate the techniques in use through accessible exercises.
To share knowledge about current and future challenges in human resources for health.
To stimulate debate on the application of systems thinking techniques in different contexts.
Expected outcomes
Information is shared between participants on the challenges in their specific contexts.
The presentations and exercises provide an introduction to the methods and techniques in use to process complexity and uncertainty commonly encountered with the planning of human resources for health.
Recommendations for application and/or integration of models for health and care workforce planning, as appropriate, based upon specific country context
